the colour is very light and the top area where the braid is supposed to attach to the head, is small. It's probably best for kids. If you have darker original hair, be mindful that the difference might show once you attach the clips. I'm still figuring out how to best use it to make it fit in my front so it stays without falling off. The hair is not shiny, which is good, but it's the attaching and staying on the head part that is a bit weird.
